Abilities

Arcane Scholar. This creature gains 20 DP. It regains half of DP at the end of long rest. It can use at most 1 DP at once to power arcane spells of any school. This creature's spellcasting attack modifier equals its Arcana(INT) check and its spellcasting difficulty class equals 8 + its Arcana(INT). When This creature takes this feature, it selects a number of arcane spells equal to its Arcana. It has working knowledge of complicated formulas required to cast those spells.

Arcane study. Once per day, per spell, This creature can spend 1 hour as part of its short or long rest to try learning new spell, if it has its formulae written on a paper or in a book. If it tries to do so, it makes Arcana(INT) check equal to 10 + the number of DP required to cast the spell. Once it succeeds 3 times it has spell memorised and can cast it. This creature can write down the formula for any spell it knows in a number of hours equal to the number of DP required to cast it, allowing other arcane scholars to learn from it.

Bred Researcher. This creature adds 1d4 to all Research checks.

Intelligent Defence. This creature uses its INT instead of AGI when calculating Dodge Class.

Learning from Observation. This creature can spend a number of hours equal to the number of DP required to cast a spell it has seen being cast in the last 24 hours. If it does, make a DC 15 + number of DP required to cast that spell Arcana(INT) check. On success you create a scroll that contains arcane formula for the spell and can be used by its arcane study feature.

Mind Fortress. Whenever This creature is forced to make INT check, it gains one level of advantage.

Potent Casting. This creature can spend up to 3 DP on each spell it casts.

Spell Recovery. Whenever This creature finishes a rest it regains 1d4 DP.

Spell Repeat. This creature can cast any spell it saw being cast in the past 10 minutes, assuming it can reach required DP requirements for it. It counts as arcane spell when it casts it.
