Age of Adventure

Isolda's Sensory Illusion

Arcane/Illusion, Divine/Dream

Costs: ◆◆, ⨂ DP

Targets: object or space no bigger than ⨂, 10 m range

Durations: 1⨂ min, focus

Components: verbal

When you cast: This creature casts the spell on an object or group of objects in a space of ⨂ m or creates an illusionary static object or objects in an empty space of the same size. Illusionary objects cannot be touched, revealing the illusion to the creature that tries to do so. The spells duration is changed by the amount of DP used. When ⨂ is 2 or more, the duration is counted in hours instead of minutes. When ⨂ is 4 or more, the duration is in days. When ⨂ is 6 or more, the duration is in years. When ⨂ is 8 or more, the spell becomes permanent.

While caster is focusing on the spell, it gains the following actions:

◆: Change Image. Maintains focus. Targeted object or objects change their appearance.

◆: Change Smell. Maintains focus. Object or objects start to emit an illusionary smell of the caster's choice.

◆: Change Temperature. Maintains focus. Object or objects change apparent temperature to cold or hot but not unbearably so.

◆: Make Noise. Maintains focus. Object or objects make a noise, everything from whisper to loud screaming. The noise is emitted on repeat until the caster changes it.

◆: Move. Maintains focus. If the object is illusory the caster can move it up to ⨂ m, keeping it in a 10 m range from them. This does not cause animation, just a change of location.

While caster is focusing on the spell, it gains the following reactions:

⮌, whenever a creature in the area of illusion is declared target of attack: Distract. The attack is made with advantage.

Spell release: If the caster loses focus before the spell's duration runs out, they lose the ability to control the illusion. The illusion remains in it's last altered state before focus was lost until the end of its duration or until it is dispelled.
