Abilities

Dream Elf Soul. Whenever Sol "The Mask" casts a spell or is the target of a spell it gets +⨂ to Arcane, Nature, Focus, Bravery and Insight, until it casts next spell, is target of another spell or until the end of next long rest, where ⨂ is the amount of DP used to cast that spell, to the maximum of 5.

Jewel Artisan. Sol "The Mask" adds 1d4 to all checks for crafting with artisan's kit, codex kit and outfitter's kit.

Rune Study. Once per day, per spell, Sol "The Mask" can spend 1 hour as part of its short or long rest to try learning new spell of arcane runecraft school, if it has required runes written somewhere. If it tries to do so, it makes Linguistics(INT) check equal to 10 + the number of DP required to cast the spell. Once it succeeds 3 times it has spell memorised and can cast it. Sol "The Mask" can write down runes for any spell it knows in a number of hours equal to the number of DP required to cast it, allowing other runecasters to learn from it.

Runecaster. Sol "The Mask" gains 8 DP. It regains half of DP at the end of long rest. It can use at most 1 DP at once to power arcane spells of runecraft school. Sol "The Mask"'s spellcasting attack modifier equals its Linguistics(INT) check and its spellcasting difficulty class equals 8 + its Linguistics(INT). When Sol "The Mask" takes this feature, it selects a number of arcane runecraft spells equal to its Linguistics. It has working knowledge of complicated formulas required to cast those spells.

Actions

10 min, ⨂ DP: Temporary Runes. ⨂ cannot be more than the maximum amount of DP Sol "The Mask" can use at the same time. Sol "The Mask" uses the time touching an item. If it does it magically inscribes a rune of level ⨂ or less. Those runes do not count towards item's level, cannot be cured and are used once flared. They also do not require lower level rune to be inscribed first.

◆: Intelligent Defence. Sol "The Mask" selects a target it can sense within 10 m. For as long as it can sense it or until it uses this ability again it adds its INT on Dodge Class and Block Class against attacks from that target.
